Hello! - An introduction

Hi there! My name is Anagha. I am a Doctor in Naturopathy and yogic sciences. I am a freelance Naturopath and nutrition consultant , personal and group Yoga coach. I teach yoga in Downtown Berkeley,California . Feel free to reach out to me for details on my yoga classes and healthy living tips! I love interacting with patients and people in general. My motto is help people recognize ways to understand their body and to prevent from lifestyle disorders. Through understanding and acquiring knowledge of our disease, we often get to know what is best for us. The positive food we take in, the water with sip with providing attention to elimination, the mental stability and the activities to burn Calories play a very important role in maintaining strong immunity and general health. I am not opposed to using medicines, but I believe that in a lot of cases, medication can be avoided by letting the body heal itself. My yoga specialties include

  • Hatha yoga, Raja yoga, Bhakthi yoga, Restorative Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Gentle Yoga and Therapeutical Yoga.

  • Pranayama - breathing exercises and techniques

  • Meditation - Relaxation techniques viz. Cyclic meditation, OM meditation, Candle meditation, Mind-Sound Resonance technique

  • Shatkriyas - Purification of Physical body

  • Working with patients suffering from Arthritis, Hypertension, Lower back pain, Headache (Migraine) , Insomnia , GastroIntestinal Disorders,Diabetes Mellitus(Type 2),Menstrual disorders in females.

As a Naturopath and Yoga consultant I manage:

  • Nutrition and diet consultation.

  • Hydrotherapy Interventions .

  • Acupuncture and Massage Therapy.

  • BalneoTherapy /Mud Therapy

  • Conduct yoga lessons - Generic and Therapeutic.

I have successfully conducted workshops on lifestyle disorders and lifestyle management for groups of 50+ people.
